Got Milk (Money)?
We are excited to announce our new project, a quarterly fine art photography magazine called 5x5. We see it as a fine art gallery you can hold in your hands. The photographic community is full of awesome artists who go unnoticed by more than a handful of people every year, and we aim to change that. We're really excited about the content we've put together and the artistic direction of the magazine, but we decided the print-on-demand service we originally lined up could not deliver the quality we want at a price that's fair to the reader. We've chosen a traditional printer instead, so that we have more control over the printing process. We need to raise money, and the Internet is a pretty fantastic place full of forward-thinking folks who like to support art. Which brings us to this fundraiser.

Here's What You Get!!!
The rewards for giving will probably be added to, but for now, here's what you get for your support: Everyone who donates at least $1 will get a thank you on the website, and in the magazine, if space permits. $25 or more lands you a 5x5 or 5x7" print from either Katie or Calli. We will list the prints on our blog at 5x5photo.wordpress.com. Everyone who gives $50 or more will also definitely have their name in the magazine & the website. For $100, we will give a year of 5x5. $200 gets a year of 5x5 & a canvas tote bag. For $300, you get 5x5, the bag, and the chance to help choose stories for 3 issues of 5x5. Should we decide in future to privately offer shares of 5x5, we will first make an offering to our donors, and the money anyone has donated through this ChipIn will be applied to the cost of shares purchased. (Assuming the SEC has no rules against this; we're definitely not interested in breaking any laws.) We're very excited about this project. We hope you are too. And we thank you for your help.
